Colloquium Praxis V

On July 29, the symposium "Earth and Man Heritage: Lines of Valorization and Sustainable Development in Beira Baixa" was held in Proença-a-Nova, which addressed issues related with programs from Beira Baixa intercity community; projects and infrastructures; and projects already implemented.

The Historical Route of the Lines of Torres Vedras participated in the initiative invited by the organization (Polytechnic Institute of Tomar, Proença-a-Nova Municipality and Associação de Estudos do Alto Tejo).

The Historical Route of the Lines of Torres Vedras project was introduced by the vice president of the Association for Heritage & Tourism Development of the Lines of Torres Vedras, Ana Umbelino, in a perspective of integration of the heritage with tourism as a factor of development and territorial cohesion. A work in development that includes a vast and diverse region whose differences can add value for the innovation of a touristic product.
